The family of Brent A. Blind is saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Born on August 2, 1969 to his cherished late parents, Bertha and Terry Blind in Tampa, Florida, he spent the majority of his life in the Waynesburg, Ohio, area where he built deep roots and friendships.
Brent’s lifelong love of the outdoors cultivated from a childhood full of learning to trap, fish and hunt with his siblings, mother and father. As a true outdoorsman, there is no doubt his most treasured memories included running trot lines on the Muskingum River or whitetail hunting with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Blind.
Brent is survived by his wife, Joni Mack-Blind; two children, Jeromiah (Ashley) Blind and Sheyanne (Sydney) Fox; sister, Sherry Reed; brother, Bart Blind; sister-in-law, Debbie Blind; his adored grandchildren, Thatcher, Wilder, Ira and Anara, all of who were the light of his life; as well as by his 13 nieces and nephews, of whom he was very proud.
As a man of Christian faith, Brent would want his struggles to not be in vain. As many friends and family have said, if only he had let us know how he was feeling, we would have been there. There is always someone out there willing to help you through a rough patch. Please know that leaving your loved ones is never the answer. There is always hope, even in times of darkness. Reach out for the light and choose hope! Through Jesus, no single moment defines a person's eternity! Much love, Brent’s family & friends.
