Mary Elizabeth Houston Bradley, 88 of Natural Bridge, passed away October 15th at HCA Hospital after a brief illness. She was born and raised in the Tallahassee and surrounding area and was loved by all who knew her. She was a long-time foster parent for Children's Home Society, a volunteer with Leon County Schools, an avid FSU Fan and a member of Crossway Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Mary Faith (Lowell), Betty Michelle, and Kevin (Liz). Grandchildren: Bradley (Erin) Mook, Caitie (Tony) Higginbotham, Richard (Randy) Powell, Dylan Bradley and Josie Bradley; and great grandchildren: Whitley, Bryson & Trace Mook and Joe Higginbotham; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, sisters/brother-in-law, foster children, friends & the staff and residents of Brynwood who will miss her dearly.
She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years JM Bradley; her children: Susan, Kim and Linda Bradley; her siblings: Inez, Frank, Edwin, Hazel, & Charles; and her parents: Searcy & Francis Williams Houston.
A celebration Of Her Life will be held Monday, October 28 at 11:00 am at Beggs Funeral Home 3322 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL. ATTENDEES ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR GARNET AND GOLD IN HER HONOR. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lighthouse Children's Home, Tallahassee, Fl.
