Mary A. Brower (Toni), 87, of Freehold Township, died on August 7, 2025, at Centra State Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born in Highland Park, Michigan, she grew up in Verona, NJ, graduated with high honors from Mount Saint Dominic Academy, and later earned a Summa Cum Laude degree in Mathematics with a Computer Science minor from Kean College in 1976 while raising her four children.

Toni lived in Freehold Township, where she participated in several community programs, serving as a Boy Scout troop Den Mother, Girl Scout and Brownie Leader, and was involved with the Freehold Soccer League. After relocating to Vero Beach, Florida, Toni played in club-level bridge tournaments and continued playing golf. In 2023, she returned to New Jersey to be closer to her family. Before retiring, Toni worked as a computer programmer for Garden State Air Conditioning and MegaSoft and later held a position as a library assistant at Monmouth County Library.

Toni was predeceased by her husband, James A. Brower Jr. (1994); sons James A. Brower III and Thomas A. Brower; son-in-law David Medeiros, her loving sisters, Pat Brown, Judy McVicar and Linda McKnight. She is survived by daughters Lisa Medeiros and Susan McDonough; son-in-law Jim McDonough; daughters-in-law Lisa Brower and Cecilia Howarth; grandchildren Justin Wright, Stephanie Hunter, Kacie Medeiros, Michael Medeiros, Erin McDonough, Emily McDonough, Jake Brower, and Noah Brower; great grandchildren Colin and Lilly Hunter, loving brother Peter Thomas, and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

A private gathering celebrating her life will take place. Condolences may be left at www.freemanfuneralhomes.com.
