Mary Beth Brucker, 64, passed away peacefully, January 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Our hearts are heavy with the loss of such a warm, brave, and compassionate soul, but we find comfort knowing she is now at peace.
Mary had an extraordinary gift for making others feel cherished. Her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. As a dedicated small business owner, she built meaningful relationships not only with her customers but also with their families, creating a sense of community wherever she went. Her love for children was especially evident in the way she nurtured and encouraged them, always taking time to listen, support, and celebrate their milestones.
Mary found great joy in spending time at the beach, where she felt at peace surrounded by the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun. She also had a playful spirit and loved playing games with family and friends, creating laughter-filled memories that will be treasured forever. She had a passion for crafting and upcycling, finding beauty and purpose in forgotten treasures from flea markets, and she delighted in giving them new life with her creative touch.
Her bond with her siblings was incredibly special - they shared an unbreakable connection filled with love, support, and countless cherished moments. Whether through heartfelt conversations or lighthearted teasing, Mary's relationship with her siblings was a cornerstone of her life.
To honor her legacy, let us continue to share love, offer kindness, and support one another with the same grace she showed every day.
She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Brucker and will be deeply missed by her family: Joan (Jerry) Catello, Cathy (Stephen) Grivnow, John (Lori) Brucker, Nancy (George) Larson, Sandy Brucker, James (Pat) Brucker, her numerous adoring nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews along with her loving cousins, especially Karen Leise,
Mary, your love made the world brighter, and we are all better people for having known you. Your memory will remain a blessing in our lives.
As per her wishes, no viewing. All are invited to attend her funeral mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St Valentine Catholic Church - Our Lady of Hope Parish. Interment will be private. Contributions in her memory can be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 (https://littlesistersofthepoorpittsburgh.org/donate/).

To all the Brucker family-Mary's passing hurts and I am so very sorry for your loss. It seems like yesterday all the families from Teepee and Crestview Acres saw each other at mass and CCD. Mary was always so pleasant, and I am sure her clients loved her because of it. May she now rest in peace. Sending prayers and strength for healing. Kate Bryan Jones

We are very sorry to hear about Mary Beth. I remember how she was always smiling and was so much fun at the Brucker's yard parties and at reunions. Mary Beth had that Brucker charm, just like her brothers and sisters, and parents Aunt Betty and Uncle Jack. God Bless Mary Beth.

My mom, Sandy Burns and our family truly loved her. She and my mom had a friendship no matter how far away they were from each other. They are together laughing and telling stories. Fly high Mary and know that you are missed! Enjoy reuniting with mom and others. Rest in peace!
