Mrs. Buckner was the daughter of the late Buford and Josephine Gowdy Furmon. She was a member of St. August Catholic Church and worked as a restaurant cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Furmon; brothers Joe Adams, Charles Furmon, James E. Furmon and John Henry Furmon; sisters, Ruth Ann Ties, Edna Jackson and Mary Phillips.
Survivors include three daughters, Levena Wilson of Millsboro, DE, May Helen Tolson of Stevens, MD and Stephanie Hagan of Louisville, KY; one granddaughter, Myeshia Hardin and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 12 noon Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Elizabethtown City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am also on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Send flowers to the service of Mary Christine Buckner
