Mary Leanne Bychowski, 75, died Sunday July 27th with her loving family by her side.
She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend to so many.
Born in Evanston to Norma (Bennett) Means and John Means on September 30th, 1949. She married William "Bill" Bychowski on December 6th, 1975.
She dedicated her life to being a wife and homemaker, lovingly raising her four children.
In 1989, they moved to Geneva, Illinois where she resided until her passing.
She spent most of her vacations in Ft Myers Beach, Florida where she had an abundance of friends and was an important part of the beach community. She loved spending time at the beach and could happily spend her day by the water.
Lover of music, sunshine, gossip, flowers, chocolate, sports and an avid reader. She loved talking on the phone and sitting in her pool house enjoying her beautiful backyard. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, and she would spend all year finding the perfect ornaments to gift to everyone. Affectionally known as Sassy by her bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her brother, Thomas (Renee) Means, and his three children and
grandchildren. Sister, Jeannie (Steve) Pintuck, and her three children and grandchildren. Her four children Aimee (Kevin Burns) Bychowski and her stepchildren and grandchildren, Bradley, Matthew, and Allison. Her stepchildren Billy, his children and grandchildren, Denise (Jim) and their son. And Jean, and her son and grandchild. And Josie Joy, her dog.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband.
