Mary Jane (Casper) Babcock, age 83, of Rosendale, WI, passed away peacefully at Ripon Senior Living on December 6, 2025, holding the hand of her best friend and husband, Bob. Mary Jane was born on September 12, 1942, in Johnsburg, WI, a daughter of Martin and Olive (Pickart) Casper. She grew up in Fond du Lac and graduated from St. Mary’s Springs Academy. On December 26, 1966, she married Robert Babcock at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Mary Jane enjoyed a long nursing career at St. Agnes Hospital. Her favorite pastime was camping and traveling with Bob and friends. She was very proud that she was able to battle and conquer cancer.

Mary Jane is survived by Bob, her husband of 59 years; her brother, John William Casper; her brother-in-law, Eugene Kohlmann; her sister-in-law, Donna Warner; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Dorothy Ann Kohlmann; her stepfather, Earl Zamzow; and brothers-in-law, William and Larry Babcock.

Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
