Mary F. Chilelli, 74, of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully in hospice care on Thursday, November 28, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Mary was born on September 10, 1950, in Aurora to Frances S. (Krantz) and Gerard P. Schwartz. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic Grade School and graduated from Madonna High School in 1968. Mary began her career at Bell Labs in Naperville, where she met her husband, Lawrence. Despite facing numerous health challenges throughout her life, Mary's resilience and love for her family carried her through. She approached each obstacle with courage, inspiring those around her with her unwavering spirit.
Mary is survived by her husband, Lawrence; her sons, Kevin (Sarah), Scott (Kelly), and Mark (Emily); her grandchildren, Isabel, Nicolas, Jacob, Adam, Lily, Dominic, Ethan, and Madeline; her siblings, Susan Ducar, Jane Faber, and Barbara (Sam) Clementz; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Schwartz; her brothers-in-law, Tim Chilelli and Gary Hirt; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
