Mary Jane Clark, age 89, of Erin, TN, passed away August 29, 2025 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Hagler Cemetery with Bro. Stewart Salyer officiating.

Mary entered this life on October 17, 1935 in Whitesburg, KY, daughter to the late Arthur and Maxeline Sturgill. After moving to Tennessee, Mary made a life with her husband Eb where she took great pride raising her family. She loved going to church and serving the Lord, and enjoyed quilting, painting and cooking for her family; she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edwin “Eb” Clark; and a host of siblings.

Survivors include her sons, Donald (Melissa) Clark, James (Terri) Clark, Jeffery (Regina) Clark; siblings, Mildie Hall, and Dan Sturgill. Mary also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Alisha Anderson, Kelsi Vanzant, Kayla Redman, Karli Clark, Kacie Clark, Scott Clark, Richard Gordon, Rachael Welborn; great-grandchildren, Branson Anderson, Brilee Anderson, Baylee Anderson, Lee Vanzant, Anna Kate Vanzant, Natilee Redman, Ryker Gordon, Rylann Welborn, Oakley Welborn, Mallorie Redman, Boone Vanzant; extended family, Lewis and Kim Dew, Tyler Hammond, Kayla Dew, Kaitin Dew, Brisyn Dew, Bradyn Dew; and two very special people in Mary’s life, Mary Day and Judy Miller.

Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Vanzant, Lewis Dew, David Day, Brisyn Dew, Bradyn Dew, Ben Redman, and Tyler Hammond.
