Mary Agnes Drury Collard, age 89, of Big Clifty, passed away, Friday, October 24, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She was born July 11, 1936, in Big Clifty to the late Joseph Ezra and Sarah Eva Conder Drury. She had been a cook at E-town Nursing and Rehab for over 14 years and was a former employee of Spring View Nursing and Rehab and Phar Shar Sewing Factory. She loved working in her garden and being active in her community and helping others. Mary was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the East Grayson Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was on the East Grayson Fire Department Board and the Big Clifty Community Center Board.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin David Collard; a son, Robert Timothy Collard and two brothers, Jospeh E. Drury and James Martin Drury.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Michelle Collard; a stepdaughter, Lina Wallace; three step grandchildren, Kim Woosley, Kristin Baker and Adam Cook; a special daughter, Lois Cain; a special son, John Thurman and several step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be held at 11 AM (CT), Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Drury officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Big Clifty.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM (CT), Tuesday and from 9 to 10:30 AM, Wednesday at Rogers Funeral Home.
A prayer service will be held at 6 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
