Michael Welsh Obituary
Michael Joseph Welsh, age 50, of Leitchfield, passed away, Monday, February 2, 2026, at the U of L Health- Jewish Hospital.
He was born February 5, 1975, in Grayson County, to the late Lillie Mae Logsdon Morris and Terry Welsh. He was a construction contractor. He enjoyed spending time with his pets and working on cars and small motors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, McKinley Welsh; a brother, Isaac Morris; his grandparents, Edward and Mable Logsdon; a nephew, Matthew Morris and an uncle, Jerry Logsdon.
Michael is survived by his fiancée, Jessica Brock; a sister, Beth Blakeman; four brothers, Josh Morris, Matt Morris, Jeremy Welsh and Adam Welsh and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM (CST), Friday, February 6, 2026, at Rogers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 AM Friday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy can take the form of donations to the funeral home.
