I flew home to CT and she embraced her friends Rita and I with a wonderful lunch. She loved to cook for her love ones. My memories of our time together include prayer, fellowship, and ministry. She was a brilliant and special soul who always cared for others. I missed her!

Mary "Madge" Collier was an unusual individual. She saw things that needed to be done and she did them or caused them to get done. For several years, we had "Terry Family Homecoming" at our home County, Robertson County in Springfield, Tennessee. Madge proposed the idea at the repast following the funeral of her sister, Martha Terry Wells. She said we need to get together at some times other than funerals. So we did it and continued for more than 15 times, starting once a year then going to every other year. She was the ultimate visionary and is sorely missed.

In addition to being first cousins, "Madge" and I went to high school and college together. I knew she was destined for great things back then. Even though we lived far apart, our paths crossed many times. Sometimes she would call, out of the blue, just say hello. I will miss her. I know God loves her and she is safely in His presence.

Deepest condolences to the entire family! I first met Mary 50+ years ago and found her to be the most dedicated and sincere persons that I I have ever met. Kindhearted, deterrent bright are just a few of her qualities! May she rest in peace!
