Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Lemoine Devall, 65 years old, beloved Sister, Aunt, and Friend, passed away on April 13, 2024, joining the love of her life, her husband Sonny Devall. She entered this world on September 15, 1958, born to Bernadine and Hubert Lemoine, in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a 1976 graduate of Baker High School. She loved her LSU Tigers and her flowers; she always had a garden of beautiful blooms.
Liz is survived by her sisters, Sabrina Whitaker (Bob) and Treba Allen (Bubba); nieces and nephews, Cheri Whitaker Spurgeon (Josh), James "Robbie" Whitaker (Sarah), Brandy Giroir (Shannon), Raymond C. "Bubbie" Allen, III (Christina), and Paul Dylan Allen (Heather); great nieces and nephews, Landon Giroir, Logan Giroir, Austin Whitaker (Kendal), Mason Martin, Laryn Giroir, Tristan Allen, James Whitaker, III, Ethan Whitaker, Jameson Allen, Gage Allen, and Duncan Allen; and great-great nieces, Channing Rose Whitaker and Ellery Elizabeth Whitaker.
Liz is preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Devall; father, Hubert Lemoine; and mother, Bernadine Lemoine.
Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond "Bubbie" Allen, Paul D. Allen, Austin Whitaker, Mason Martin, Landon Giroir, Logan Giroir, Josh Spurgeon, and Mickey "Cuzz" Devall. Honorary pallbearers will be James R. "Robbie" Whitaker, Jr. and Robert Jones.
Special thanks to her very special friend Lisa Grainger Jones, for all the care given over the years, along with all her Mississippi buddies.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Bro. Willis Easley and Austin Whitaker. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
