Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Sister
Mary (nee DiFalco) DiGiovanni, age 95, of Havertown, formerly of Overbrook, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024. Born January 6, 1929 to Giuseppe and Caterina (Torrecelli) DiFalco and married on October 9, 1948 to Romolo DiGiovanni for 52 years.
Mary was the Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Philadelphia National Bank for over 20 years, a domestic engineer, chef, Girl-Scout Leader, and all-around amazing woman! She also loved to sew beautiful clothes, listen to Tony Bennett, Sinatra, and Engelbert Humperdinck, and watch Lawrence Welk and Dancing With the Stars. Most importantly, Mary's life centered on her deep faith in God, attending church every day, praying the rosary, and saying her Novenas.
Mary is survived by her daughters Katherine Rossi (Robert – deceased), Janet Gallagher, Diana Baldini (Tony), her 7 Grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, David, Gabriella, Nicholas, Anthony, Victoria, and her 2 Great Grandchildren, Eleanora and Andrew.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Romolo DiGiovanni, her son Paul DiGiovanni (Patricia Fortino), son-in-law Robert Rossi, and brothers Constantine DiFalco, Charles DiFalco, and Edward DiFalco.
