Eileen J. DiGiovanni

Eileen J. DiGiovanni, 77, of Rockaway Township, NJ, died peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, October 3, 2025, at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ.
Born in Paterson, NJ to the late Edward and Phyllis Bivaletz, Eileen was raised in Clifton before making Rockaway Twp. her home for the past 50 years. She worked as a devoted Home Health Aide until her retirement and was a faithful parishioner of St. Cecilia's Church in Rockaway.
Eileen's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved fiercely. She was a dedicated homemaker, an avid bowler, and she especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Her compassion extended beyond people to animals, as she was actively involved in pet fostering and rescue throughout her life.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Frank DiGiovanni; her three children: Mark DiGiovanni (Lucinda), Frank DiGiovanni (Lisa), and Allison Viscardi; her 10 grandchildren: Grace Gamiel, Andrew, Gwen, Wyatt, Elizabeth, Victoria, Ella, and Lukas DiGiovanni, and Angela and Anthony Viscardi; her great-grandson, Jett Gamiel; and her two brothers, Steven Bivaletz and his wife Barbara, and Raymond Bivaletz.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM at Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Ave., Rockaway, NJ. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent at RockawayFuneral.com
