Mary Doghramji Obituary
Mary Doghramji (née Bedikian), age 93, of Havertown, PA, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Fartisli (near Alexandretta), Turkey, she was the daughter of the late Penyamin and Ovsannah (née Tokajian) Bedikian.
Mary’s greatest joy was to be in the company of her family and friends. She was a faithful and active member of the Armenian evangelical community, her latest congregation being the Armenian Martyrs’ Congregational Church in Havertown, PA.
Mary was the beloved wife of the Rev. Dr. Peter B. Doghramji, the loving mother of Dr. Karl Doghramji, MD (Laurel), Dr. Paul Doghramji, MD (Kathleen), and Dr. James Doghramji, MD (Rose). She was the devoted grandmother of Paul Jr, Mark, Kristen, Alex, Matthew, Leah, and Harold (Nicky), and the great grandmother of Jasper.
Mary is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mary was the last survivor of 7 siblings: Levon, Setrak, Dzaghig, Azniv, Haroutune, and Vahan.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Saturday, March 11, 2023, 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Armenian Martyrs’ Congregational Church, 100 N Edmonds Avenue, Havertown, PA 19083, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s memory would be appreciated to the Armenian Missionary Association of America, 31 W.
