Mary Frances Duhon, 84, passed away on October 1, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on October 22, 1940, to Robert and Ruby Phillips in Nacogdoches, TX. She moved to Orange, TX early in her life and that’s where she met Mack Duhon. Mary would marry Mack on December 28, 1959, and they would spend a loving 66 years together. They would move to the Dallas area where they would raise their family. Mary had some retail jobs, but what she loved the most was taking care of her husband, children and especially, the grandchildren when they arrived. She was an avid reader. Mary was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister. Her parents, Robert and Ruby, husband Mack, daughter, Becky Simpson, grandchildren: Shawn King and Natosha King; son-in-law Lance King and brother-in-law Richard Bishop preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are children: Mike Duhon and wife Brenda, Pamela King, Michelle Fivecoat and husband Russell, and Mona Lyles and wife Kristen; sister Bobbie Bishop, grandchildren: Kory Simpson and wife Cynthia, Ashley Simpson, April Phelps and husband Scott, Bobby Joe Duhon, Jason Duhon, Tiffany Myers and husband Harold, Shane McKnight and wife Kristina, Nikki Blunt and husband Cody, Justin Fivecoat, Tyler Gordon and husband Jared, Mekala Farver and Keegan Farver; great grandchildren: Dylan, Morgan, Hunter, Kourtnee, Kaitlyn, Sable, Skyler, Haisan, Kelsey, Justina, Austin, Novalee, Paisleigh, Carlie, Charlie, Millie, Atley, and Ansley; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
