Mary Jane Durma

MARY JANE "M.J." WESTWOOD DURMA, age 81, of Winchester, formerly of Illinois, departed this life on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at STRHS Winchester, following an extended illness. She was born in Glen Ellyn, Ill. on February 21, 1941, to the late Harold Westwood and Eva Mary Kelly Westwood. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Durma was of the Catholic Faith. She and her husband, Paul moved to Winchester upon his retirement to live on Tims Ford Lake where they could enjoy fishing. She had many pets over the years and enjoyed taking care of them and their companionship. In the past several years she also liked going to the Divine Hair Salon for her hair appointments. She will be remembered for her smile and sweet disposition.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters; Catherine Vogel and Edna Doyle. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Paul Durma of Winchester and son, Donald Jones of Yorkville, Ill. Brother, Harold Joseph Westwood and wife, Sharon of Wheaton, Ill. and several nieces and nephews.
