Mrs. Everett was born on March 27th, 1951, in Jones County, Mississippi to Andrew Nolan Morgan and Pauline Rawls Morgan, she lived a life characterized by unwavering faith, deep-seated family values, and an abundance of caring for others. On February 1st, 2026, Elizabeth was called to her heavenly home, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and generosity.

Elizabeth dedicated many years of service to the community through her work at the Alexander City Walmart. She was a cherished employee, known for her helpful nature and her commitment to making each customer's experience memorable. Her colleagues and customers alike felt the touch of her kindness and the sincerity of her spirit.

Her life was a reflection of her strong Christian faith. Elizabeth embodied the love of Christ in her daily interactions and was a source of wisdom and comfort to all. She made her house of worship a second home where she not only sought spiritual nourishment but also offered her time and talents in various capacities.

The simple pleasures in life brought Elizabeth immense joy. She found delight in the laughter of her grandchildren, taking every opportunity to express her pride in their achievements. Her skills as a baker were unparalleled; friends and family often reminisced over her delicious creations and the warmth of her kitchen. Elizabeth shared a special bond with her peers at the New Site Senior Center, cherishing the moments of fellowship and friendship. She also had a special place in her heart for her two cats, Bobby and Daisy, and always looked forward to spending quiet moments with them.

Elizabeth's passion for life was matched by her love for travel. Alongside her beloved husband, she ventured on monthly trips, exploring and creating new memories. These journeys were not merely vacations; they were adventures that she eagerly anticipated and savored with every step.

In life, Elizabeth Everett was a testament to the enduring spirit of love, community, and faith. Her memory will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have felt her touch-like a song that endures long after the final note has been played, her influence will reverberate in the lives of her loved ones for generations to come. Elizabeth's journey on earth has ended, but her story-etched in the lives she touched-remains a timeless testament to a life well-lived in the service and love of others.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Clark Everett; daughter, Karen (James Norman) Cheatham; son, John (Connie Jo) Everett all of New Site; grandchildren, Emma Everett, Colton Powell, and Karianne Powell.
