Mary Louise (Maassen) Ferguson, 79, of Annandale, Minnesota, formerly of Avoca, Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Rolla, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Avoca, Iowa. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Avoca, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Mary is survived by her children: Rebecca Ferguson and fiancé Jeremy Johnson of Rolla, MO and Cameron Gisch St. Paul Park, MN; siblings: Peggy Fell and husband Jeff of Minnesota, Tony Ferguson and wife Cindy of Montana, Paul Ferguson and wife Yolanda of Montana, and Donald Ferguson and wife Vicki of Nevada; grandchildren: Scarlett Wiersma, Destiny Anderson, Khalalah Anderson, Landon Wiersma, Maassen Wiersma, and Maverick Wiersma; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her husband: Robert E. Ferguson; parents: Francis and Ioan Maassen; mother and father-in-law: Celestine Ferguson Sams Strom and Clarence Ferguson; infant brother: Baby Boy Maassen; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. complete obituary to follow Condolences may be left online at www.wilsonmortuary.com
