Mary Louise “MaryLou” Fields, age 65, of Cuyahoga Falls, died peacefully, Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in her son’s Gnadenhutten residence while in the care of Ohio’s Hospice.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 17, 1960, MaryLou was a daughter of the late Bernard E. and Carol A. Girard Futej. MaryLou was raised in Parma and was a graduate of Valley Forge High School.
Her professional career as a Property Manager spanned nearly three decades having spent the last ten years working for Executive Properties.
MaryLou had a deep faith in the Lord having attended St. Joseph Parish Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls and supporting her family at LifeWay Church in New Philadelphia. MaryLou was known for her outgoing, charismatic, and joyful personality which enabled her to talk with anyone and bring peace to those around her. She was an avid fan of Ohio State Buckeyes football, loved scenic drives and never missed an opportunity to enjoy God’s creations by being out in nature. She loved being with her family, her grandchildren, and her grand-puppies.
She will be missed by her children, Bradley M. (Danyell) Fields of Gnadenhutten, and Jessica Miller of Cuyahoga Falls; her grandchildren, Anthony Fields, Michael Konczal, Morgan Miller, and Charlie Miller; her great-grandson, Everett Konczal; her sister, Bernadette (Tony) Melendez of Florida; her former husband, Charles L. Fields, and her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, MaryLou was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Beligoi, and a brother, Joseph Futej.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 9, 2026, in LifeWay Church, at New Philadelphia. A meal and fellowship will be shared in the church social hall following the service. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling cremation care.
