Mary Ann Fisher, 70, entered rest on August 14, 2021. She was born October 14, 1950, to the parentage of the late James and Josie Reed.  She accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where she established the Nursing Guild.  The epitome of grace, style, and class, she was known for her big smile, hearty laugh, eloquent speeches, and those amazing Sunday suits/hats.

A graduate of Paris High School, she was a woman of many talents, earning her BSN in Nursing from the University of Arlington in August 1996 and serving on the Paris City Council and as Mayor Pro-Tem.  She retired from McCuistion Regional Hospital in 2005 after thirty-six years of service where she loved being a nurse and caring for others, often arising early to care for trauma patients starting urgently needed IV's.

Mary Ann, a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, has also served beside her husband as First Lady of New Olive Missionary Church for the past ten years, supporting and encouraging their ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  Her beautiful memories  will be cherished forever in the lives of her family: husband, Pastor George Fisher, Jr.; daughter, Kalayah; son, George III (Karen); Godson, Terimaine Davis, whom she reared; a devoted brother, Elgin Reed;   grandchildren, Taylor and Rheagan Hall and Devin and Alexis Johnson, a special aunt, Hettie Roberts, Phoenix, Arizona; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

George, Kalayah, George III and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and the challenging days ahead. What joy Mary Ann brought to her McCuistion Family throughout her life! We laughed and cried together and shared each other's burdens. I'm a better person today because MAF was my friend. While our paths haven't crossed as they did daily for over 20+ years, the treasured memories will live on. Know a crowd of friends are lifting you all up in prayer. Sending hugs and much love your way!
