Mary Ann "Mae Mae" Duplantis Foret, 86, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 1:27pm.
Family and friends of the family are invited to visitation on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 9:30am until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word will begin following visitation on Wednesday at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery #2.
Mae Mae is survived by her sons, Paul "T-June" Foret and wife Virgie, Richard Foret and wife Robin, Randy Foret and companion Helen, Tommy Foret and wife Sally, Douglas Foret and wife Meca; two daughters, Brenda Sons and husband Mike, and Susan Dennis and husband Farley. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Mae Mae is preceded in death by her companion of 38 years, Charles LeBlanc; former husband and father of her children, Paul Dewey Foret; parents, Acklin and Marie Duplantis; son, John Rene Foret; and two grand-daughters, Taylor and Megan Foret; step-parents, Louise and Walter Fitch; and sister, Florence Parfait.
Mae Mae was a very loving mother and grandmother. She was very sweet and kind hearted and always willing to help others. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved going to the casino and shopping.
She will be dearly missed by the many family and friends she had throughout her life; but never forgotten and always and forever loved.
