Mary Lois Foster, born on November 19, 1931, in Knobel, Arkansas, passed away on October 22, 2025. A beloved matriarch and cherished friend, Mary lived a life rich in love, compassion, and dedication to her family.
Devoted wife to the late, Noel D. foster, whom she spent 60 wonderful years of marriage with; Beloved daughter of the late Garland Green and Ellen Green (née Dowdy).
Surviving Mary is her daughter, Bonita (Jack) Gray; and son, Daris (Patti) Foster. As a grandmother, she delighted in the company of her grandchildren: Jonathan (Shannon) Gray, Noel B (Brianne Dobran) Foster, Jason (Maren) Gray, Joy (Caleb) Knapton (née Gray), Michael Graham, Benjamin (Lindsey) Foster, Ryan (Katie) Graham, Melissa (Mitch) Heady (née Graham), and Christy (Koty) Whitaker (née Foster). Each grandchild carries a piece of her spirit, embodying her values of hard work, kindness, and unwavering love. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Mary’s legacy is one of warmth and resilience. She touched the hearts of all who knew her, creating an enduring impact through her gentle nature and generous soul. As we reflect on her life, we celebrate a remarkable woman who was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed dearly but remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know her.
