Mary Friend

Mary Elizabeth Friend (Tomlinson) Sharpsburg – Mary Friend, 77, died unexpectedly November 30, 2021, at a Meritus Medical Center. She was born July 7, 1944, in Neon, KY. Friend, the daughter of William and Virgie Tomlinson. Mary attended Lorain High School. Following High School she married her husband Lloyd Friend. They celebrated 56 years of marriage in May. Mary was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great- Grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Jessica. Surviving in addition to her husband, Lloyd, are her daughters, Tina Shafer and her husband, Dan, of Wellington; children, Nathan, Eric, Jessica Friend and children Nikolai, Charlie, Colbie and Oliver. Jonathen Friend and wife Maili and son Jackson. Anne Hoover and her husband, Ken of Nashville, OH; Children, Kayla, Kelsie, Tyler, Kenny, James and wife Kristina and children Layla and Preston. Irfanna Shah of Hagerstown, MD; Children, Daniel Friend, Chariti and husband Brandon Dykes and Children Reniah, Xavier, BJ, Mason, Isaiah and Bronx.
