Mary Gagliano Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Mary Jacqueline Gagliano was born in Magnolia Arkansas on July 20th 1943 to Dessie Lee Mayhall. As a young girl she moved to Rosenburg, Texas. In the seventh grade she met the love of her life, Carl Thomas Gagliano at Burbank Junior High. They married on January 5th 1963.

Jackie was a one of a kind lady, beloved follower of Jesus Christ, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted cook most of her entire life, feeding numerous people over the years with love and joy. She was a loving church member at Calvary Baptist church in Fairfield Texas where she enjoyed serving in the kitchen and fellowshipping with her loving church family. Jackie stayed busy, although she was retired she always found work to do. She loved to work outside, garden, and pick berries with her great grandsons. She enjoyed doing all of those things until the day The Lord called her home on October 1st in Tyler Texas.

She is reunited with her mother, Dessie Lee Mayhall, her son Ronald Dean Gagliano, and her in laws Tommy and Lettie Gagliano.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl Thomas Gagliano, her son Randy Gagliano, wife Stacey. Her daughter Kimberly Vaurigaud, husband Pete. Grandchildren: Kayla Skinner, husband David, Dana Gagliano, fiancé Shane Massey. Brent Gagliano, Grant Gagliano, Jessica Foster. Great grandsons: Tripp Skinner, Waylon Skinner, Wyatt Skinner, Miller Massey. Sister, Brenda Richardson, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

A note from the family:

Jackie truly lived everyday like it was her last. She was an example of faith, love, and service to so many. Though her family grieves we do not grieve as the world grieves, we have the hope and promise of the gospel of Jesus Christ, that Christ died for her, was raised on the third day defeating sin and death and we will be reunited with her one day in glory, and we hope you will too.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul.

He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
