Mary Gembler Obituary
She was born on October 7, 1943 in Dekalb, Mississippi to Zack and Junior Eakes.
She retired after working as Manager of Cash Magic in Vinton, LA. Earlier in her life she had worked for Ray Cotton and Rodney Burch as well. Exit four was her home for many years.
She is survived by her children, Billy Eakes (Alana), William Eakes, Regina Eakes, and Darlene Trahan (C.J.); as well as all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She answered to all, some called her Mom, Me Maw, Granny, Boo, Sister, Flame, Mary Jo. She was loved so very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gembler; her mother and father; and children, Wayne, Pam, Bonita, and Connie Jean.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
