Mary Getzloff Obituary
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 with family sharing at 4:30 p.m. at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids.
Mary was born February 9, 1948, in Wood County, Wisconsin to Albert and Edna Morrison. She was united in marriage to Roger Getzloff on March 15, 1969 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and they cherished 56 years together.
She worked for Ore-Ida Foods for 13 years until her retirement.
Mary found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially playing bingo, visiting the casino, watching her favorite Food Network and game shows, and shopping for her beloved great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her loving husband Roger, children: Eric Getzloff, Lyn (Tina Falkner) Getzloff, and Nadean (Todd) Kuehl; grandchildren: Haley (Justin) Hansen, Megan Getzloff, William Kuehl, and Matthew Getzloff; great-grandchildren: Emberlynn, Iris, Lawson, and Brinlee; siblings: Terry Morrison and Sharon Carey. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Edna Morrison; infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth; brother, Jake Morrison; mother and father-in-law, LLoyd and Ruth Getzloff, and several brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as other beloved family and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the medical staff from the second floor at Aspirus Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, the first responders, and Grand Rapids fire department for the wonderful care and kindness.
