Mary had an impact on my life and has been a part of my life for 6 decades. Her influence was the reason I named my daughter´s name after her. EMMA. Stands for Ella (my mom´s middle name) Mary Melissa and Agnes (my grandmothers name). A humble, peaceful, yet strong woman that always kept a cool head when others around her couldn´t. Though she will be missed I know she´s in a better place. You don´t hear many in today´s world being named Mary because the religious name comes with a certain amount of Grace to live up to that many like me fall short of. She made everyone a better person and I was blessed to have her as a Godmother. My daughter has 3 strong black women she was named after and if she can be half the woman Mary was she´d be twice the woman of most. Rest in peace Mary. G. Wesley Harper
