Mary Goldberg Obituary
She was born on September 16, 1923 in York. The daughter of the late Ralph and Juliette (Brooks) Gundrum.
Mary was a very artistic and creative person. Even though Mary Ellen is no longer with us, her paintings remain as a lasting testament of a life lived with intention, sensitivity, and extraordinary vision.
Mary retired as a case worker for the Welfare Department of Pennsylvania. She also loved helping at her son's business on Saturdays in Amish Country.
She is survived by her children, Carole Davis and Edward Jackson, grandchildren Byron Loucks, Shawn Loucks, Eric Lyons, Gary Myers, and Jeremy Jackson, Great Grandchildren, Justin Loucks, Logan Loucks, Dylan Loucks, Tyler Loucks, Steven Loucks, Caitlin Lyons, Alexis Myers, Tawnie Platts, Zoey Myers, and Andrew Jackson. Also a 5th generation for Mary includes 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jackson, brothers, Ralph "Fritz" and Henry Gundrum, and great grandson, Brenden Lyons.
The services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. The John W. Keffer Home and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt Rose Ave, York is assisting with arrangements.
