Mary Teresa Grayson, born on April 25th, 1942, peacefully departed from this world on the morning of November 16th, 2023. She embodied the roles of a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Teresa hailed from Stephenville, Newfoundland, Canada.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Leo O'Quinn and Grace (Gallant) O'Quinn, along with siblings Martin and Francis O'Quinn, Martha (Ray) Hoyt, and Betty (Brian) Duffy. Among her surviving siblings are Marie (Burt) Alexander, Cora (Dave) Bedo, Linda (Bill) Abbott, Genny (Gerry) O'Quinn, Clyde (Sandra) O'Quinn, Gary (Agnes) O'Quinn, Ron O'Quinn, and Raymond (Cecelia) O'Quinn.
On October 12th, 1963, Teresa entered matrimony with Irby Grayson and relocated to the United States, where she nurtured a family in Oklahoma. Teresa's pastimes included chauffeuring her friends to casinos and indulging in bingo. She found joy in shopping for items to donate to the Infant Crisis Center, a cause dear to her heart, second only to The Catholic Charities.
Rooted in her devout Catholic upbringing, Teresa dedicated her life to serving others, displaying remarkable selflessness and kindness. An early caregiver, she passionately continued to care for others until the day she became the one in need of care.
Teresa is survived by her daughters Eulene Grayson and Laurie McGraw, as well as her son Dale Grayson, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her absence will be deeply felt, and her legacy of compassion and service will be fondly remembered.
