The sweet life of Mary Green came to a close on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at St Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Interment will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Lakeside Cemetery in Camden, Arkansas.
Mary was born on June 12, 1954, in Blytheville, Arkansas. She accepted Christ at a young age and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She was a natural caregiver having worked as a CNA at local nursing facilities in Camden. Mary served as Head Usher at New Life Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Randy Morris.
Her pilgrimage was modest, but it was full and fulfilling. Her independent spirit, beautiful smile, and strong character will never be duplicated but will leave an impression on the lives of those she touched and enriched along this life’s journey. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Linda Green, Evelyn Clay, and Danny Clay.
Her memory and love will live in the hearts of her sons, Dwight Kelly of Houston, TX, Eric Kelly and Jeffery Kelly both of Camden, AR; a daughter, Allamonda Kelly of Camden, AR; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Ernestine Thompson of Jonesboro, AR, Linda Scott and Debra Smith both of Camden, AR. She also leaves nieces, nephews, and friends.
