Brother MacArthur Burch was the youngest child of the late Bro. Alex Burch and Mattie Burch. He was born in Ouachita County, Louann, Arkansas.
He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with the New Jerusalem Baptist Church. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he learned auto mechanics. Following his military service, he worked for Cleotex Roofing for many years.
He spent his retirement doing what he loved—working on cars. He also served faithfully in the church as an usher, Chairman of Trustees, and Church Treasurer until his health failed.
MacArthur was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Mattie Burch; his three sisters, Florence Thompson, Ines Hughes and Gladys Peterson Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory his favorite cousin, Gerteen Moore; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
We love you, but God loves you best.
