Mary Elizabeth Griffin born on May 17, 1939, passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at home on September 13, 2025 at the age of 86 years old. Mary was widowed at the age of 26 and successfully raised four children as a single Mother. She was predeceased by her Mother and Father, Vianna Rewis and Willie Stewart; her brothers Bill, Joe, David, Danny, Ernie and John (Stewart); as well as her eldest son, Ricky Malcolm, and her youngest son, Eric Griffin.

Mary spent most of her career working as a Legal Secretary and Word Processor in South Florida and was highly respected in her field. She was fortunate enough to have retired and live out her life at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was an avid reader and remained one all her life. She had a gift for making others smile and left a lasting impact on all who crossed her path. Mrs. Griffin was also a twenty-five year survivor of Throat Cancer

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Griffin-Talbot, her son, David Keith Griffin and her devoted son-in-law Chuck Talbot. She leaves behind three grandchildren, Tabitha Malcolm, Samantha Ackermann, and John Eric Griffin; two great-grandchildren, Wynn Scott Calfee and Jennifer Ackermann and one great grandson, Sawyer Ackermann.
