In Loving Memory of Mary Louise Gripshover
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Louise Gripshover, born on September 6, 1935, and departing this world on July 18, 2024. A native of Cincinnati, OH, Mary lived a life filled with love and devotion in her home in Milford, OH. She peacefully left this world through natural means, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.
Mary will always be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Barbara Gripshover, and Carol Gripshover, all of whom cherished her deeply, as well as her nieces and nephews.
In the quiet embrace of her family, Mary found her greatest joy and contentment, forever weaving a tapestry of memories that will endure through the ages.
Mary held dear her involvement in the American Daffodil Society serving as past president, the board of directors and as editor. In her spare time, you could find her either in her garden or with a camera taking lots of photographs.
The celebration of Mary's life will be honored with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 10:00 am. Prior to this, a visitation will take place at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00PM. Family and friends are welcomed to gather, share stories, and comfort one another as they pay their respects to a beloved soul.
The final farewell will take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, where Mary will find her eternal rest. As we come together to honor her life, let us remember the warmth of her smile, the kindness of her heart, and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
In our hearts, Mary Louise Gripshover will forever reside, a beacon of light guiding us through the shadows, a gentle presence reminding us of the power of unconditional love. May she find peace in the arms of eternity, her spirit forever alive in the memories of those she touched.
Mary was preceded in death by husband Paul Joseph Gripshover, parents Catherine and Walter Blasek, and son Greg Gripshover. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cincinnati Freestore Foodbank www.freestorefoodbank.org.
