Henry Charles Gripshover, 94, of Highland Heights, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 13, 2025, with his family by his bedside. He was born October 18, 1930, in Covington, the son of the late Henry Bernard Gripshover and Mayme Bischoff Gripshover. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Mail Carrier for over 38 years, was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cold Spring, and was a proud Army Veteran. He was married to Jacqueline Ruth Goetz Gripshover February 4, 1956, at St. Patrick's Church in Covington, who survives. Also surviving are his children, John Gripshover, James Gripshover, Jerry Gripshover (Susan) and his daughter, Christina Gripshover. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many family friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cathleen Ann Gripshover; his grandson, Jacob Michael Gripshover and three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where visitation will be held Wednesday from 10-1 PM. Burial with military graveside rites will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
