Mary Ann Grodi (1966-2024)
Mary Ann Grodi, 58, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 28 with loved ones by her side at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Mary Ann was born on August 21, 1966, in Toledo to Joseph Paul Grodi and Mary Catherine (née Zunk) Grodi. She graduated from Waite High School and spent her life caring for her family. Mary Ann was a great lover of animals, caring for a myriad of dogs over the years.
Mary Ann is survived by her son, Paul Joseph Grodi; sisters, Ruth Ann Grodi and Joann Marie (George) Grodi Riffe; her long-time companion, Raymond Maxwell; aunts and uncles, Janet Zunk, David (Judy) Hollis (Florence, Alabama); and Lanny Hollis (El Paso, Texas); nephews, David (Rebecca) Riffe and Jeremy (Hannah) Riffe; and many great nieces, great nephews, and beloved cousins especially from the Charles and Caroline (Grodi) Battista Family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving grandmothers, Ruth Zunk and Maxine Hollis; brother-in-law, Michael Riffe; and many dear aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be held privately at a later date.
Mary Ann will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her. She leaves behind family and friends who are deeply grateful for the love she shared with them.
