She was born in Jamestown, New York in the Winter of 1951 to Ward and Julia Hallenbeck.
Mary moved to Indian River County in 1988.
She worked as a Baker and retired from the Fresh Market in Vero Beach. Mary enjoyed knitting, the beach, the Buffalo Bills, and searching for the next yard sale bargain.
Survivors include her significant other of 43 years Terrence Coggins; sons Daniel Wood and Matthew Wood; sister Caresse; grandchildren Avylon, Abbie, and Shiloh; great granddaughter Kalea; best friend Debbie Slagle; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her parents and siblings Ward Hallenbeck, Ellis Hallenbeck, and Rita Hallenbeck.
Mary will be interred in the Riverside Cemetery in Kennedy, New York at a later date.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
