Mary Jane Harbertson
October 30, 1929 – January 12, 2025
Mary Jane Harbertson, 95, of Roy, Utah, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, at a local care facility. Born on October 30, 1929, in Boise, Idaho, Mary Jane lived a long, full life dedicated to her family, faith, and community.
Mary Jane married the love of her life, Robert D. Harbertson, on December 31, 1946, in Ogden, Utah. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and family until Robert's passing. She raised and showed dogs, and had a love of all dogs.
She is survived by her cherished family: Her two daughters, Lynne H. Nicholas, Karin H. (Brent) Goodwin, one son, Brent R. (Sheri) Harbertson, 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Also surviving are her two sisters and a brother, Nora (Wynn) Fowers, Joyce A. (Jeff) Stewart, and Glenn (Alison)Driggs.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Driggs and Edna Zoe Driggs, and her beloved husband, Robert, son-in-law Kieth Nicholas, her grandson, and a great great grandson.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Roy City Cemetery, 5200 South 2300 West, Roy, Utah.
Mary Jane's legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
Special thanks to Ursla and the staff at Sunridge memory care unit and hospice nurses and aids for Atlas Home Care and Hospices for their wonderful care of our mother in her last days.
