Mary Herrmann Obituary
Mary was born November 1, 1947, in Evansville to the late Albert and Dorothy (Hust) Hite. Mary worked as a medical assistant while living in Evansville at Welborn Clinic and while living in Phoenix at Wells Fargo. Mary enjoyed sewing, knitting, working puzzles and playing Bunco with her friends. She and her family were members of Resurrection Catholic Church.
Surviving Mary are husband of 58 years, David L. Herrmann; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Edmund Wagner; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Monika Herrmann; brother, Samuel Hite; sister, Carrie Jo Dick; grandchildren, Nadia, Nora, Aleks, Nicolette, Emily and Noelle, and great-grandchildren, Miles and Brea.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Resurrection Catholic Church, Rev. Raymond Brenner officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and 9:30 AM until service time at Resurrection Catholic Church, 5301 New Harmony Road, Evansville, IN 47720.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Resurrection Catholic Church.
