Mary Higgins Obituary
Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Lawrence Higgins Jr. and the son of the late Floyd Alvin Cartee and Mary Ellen Price. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of Fairforest Church of God.
Surviving Mrs. Higgins are a son, Lawrence Kenneth Higgins, two sisters, Cora Lee Black and Dorothy Pilkington, and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Cartee.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Cartee.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, at 2:00pm at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Amber Seay officiating.

The Gaffney location of Gordon Mortuary is serving the Higgins family.
