Mary Christina Hoffman

Mary Christina Hoffman of Brighton, MI passed away peacefully on March 13, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was 96 years old.
Daughter of the late John H. and Beatrice Belle (Miller) Lewis, Mary is survived by her husband of 72 years, John; daughter, Jeanine and sons, Ronald (Carleen) and Joseph (Lori); grandchildren, Jocelyn (Mike) Mottes, Eric Hoffman, Sean Hoffman, Robert Hoffman, Mitchell Henrys and Ryan Hoffman; great grandchildren, Dominic, Stella, Deacon, Serafina, Tyler, Mikel, Jordan, Jason, Justin and Jeremy; sisters, Shirley Hollister and Sandra Diehlman, as well as many extended family members and dear friends. Preceded in death by her brothers, Norman and Art and her step-father Lester Goodnoe.
Mary was born in Jackson Michigan on December 12, 1925. She worked in an aviation plant in Jackson as a true 'Rosie the Riveter' assembling the B24 Bomber. Mary lived her life for her family, enjoyed traveling many times to Europe, cruises with her husband, and visits to Branson MO. She volunteered at LACASA and worked as a volunteer in the gift shop at McPherson Hospital in Howell.
Visitation will be held at Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 9455 Hilton Rd, Brighton, MI 48114, on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 9 AM until the time of service.
Funeral Service will be at 11 AM, the Rev. Dr. Arthur Hunt officiating. Immediately following the service, you are cordially invited to join the family for a luncheon in the Church Fellowship Hall.
Burial Green Oak Plains Cemetery.
