Mary Jane Singletary

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Mary Jane Singletary, age 88 of Pearl River, LA, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord. Mrs. Mary Jane was an amazing woman with an angelic voice, who had a heart of gold. She was a very dedicated member of Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church in Pearl River, LA. Mrs. Mary Jane was a kind-hearted woman who had a godly voice which she used to serve the Lord when she sang with the trio. She was very musically inclined and played the piano and guitar at times as well. She would give bible studies and was a loving nurturing woman whom you couldn't help but love. Although she is no longer in pain, her amazing soul will be missed greatly by all she leaves behind. She is survived by her children Gwendolyn King (Steve), Steven Singletary (Kerri), and Pamela Penton (the late Eric), her siblings; Dorothy Kennedy, Martha Singletary, and Nelda Blackwell, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Percy Eugene Singletary, her parents Burrell and Nora Seal, and her 10 siblings. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 10 am with visitation on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 6 pm to 10 pm and again on Saturday from 9 am until service time at Pine Grove UPC in Pearl River, LA. Interment to follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pearl River, LA. Pastor Billy Trusley to be officiating.
