Mary Dell Kemps

Mary Dell Kemps, 78 years of age entered into The Lord's rest on Tuesday March 25th 2025. Mary was born on September 29th 1946, in Gallion, Alabama to the late Samuel and Willie Dell Lee. She was the Eldest Daughter of 11 children. Mary is preceded in death by brothers Edward Shade, Samuel Lee Jr, and Vernon Lee.
Mary Graduated from George P. Austin High School in Alabama. She later married the late Mr. Dave Kemps. Three children were born from this union. In 1973 she moved to Ohio and worked in various retail positions. Mary professed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She strived to live out her faith in thankfulness for his forgiveness for her sins and everlasting life.
Mary was a devoted member of Holy Ground Worldwide Ministries. She was ordained as an Elder in the Lord's church and served on the Mother's board. She loved Bible Study, Intercessory Prayer, and Praise and Worship. Mary had a beautiful voice and often received requests to share her beautiful gift.
Over the years Mary took in her family and friends in their time of need. She will be remembered for being a strong advocate for her neighbor's in her senior community. She was known for her "green thumb" and loved spending time in her flower garden. Most of all she will be remembered for her beautiful smile.
Mary leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Senthia (Eugene) Kemps, Dave (Donna) Kemps Jr., and Dossie (James Sr.) Garrett. Sister's Dorother (Melvin) Jackson, Miriam Wesley, Geraldine Blount, Sonya Lee and Cynthia Lee. Brothers Tommy Lee, and Harold Kemp. She also leaves 10 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and host of other family and close friends
