Jeffrey Richard Brandt

Jeffrey "Jeff" Richard Brandt, 75, of Millersport, OH, and North Fort Myers, FL, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Born in Columbus, OH, Jeff built a life full of family, friendship, and love of the water. He was married to his beloved wife, Cheri Brandt, for 47 years, and was a devoted father to Chris (Angela) LeFebvre of Vail, AZ, Lauren (Judd) Bobo of South Lebanon, OH, and Adam (Sarah) Brandt of Lancaster, OH. He was a proud and adoring "Papa" to his five granddaughters: Caroline, Emma, Anna, Kendall, and Brynley. Jeff is also survived by his sister, Nancy (Mike) Priestas of Pickerington, OH, as well as his niece and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Shirley Brandt.

Jeff dedicated 35 years to Crane Plastics, where he was highly regarded in the plastic extrusion industry before his retirement in 2006. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy on the water-whether napping by his pool in Florida, cruising Buckeye Lake on his pontoon boat, or enjoying long weekends on his houseboat at Lake Cumberland.

Known for his big presence and even bigger heart, Jeff was extremely loving, overly generous, and endlessly proud of his family. His granddaughters held a special place in his heart and "Papa" treasured every moment with them.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jeff's life on Friday, October 10, 2025, with visitation from 2:00–3:00 p.m. and again from 4:00–6:00 p.m., followed by a service at 6:00 p.m. at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110.
