Mary Anna Hall Keys, 75, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, August 22, 2025. She went on to her heavenly life after a battle with a rare blood cancer. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in the sanctuary of Byron Heritage Church, 103 West Heritage Street in Byron, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private in Byron City Cemetery. Rev. Josh Bizzell will officiate.
Born in Jersey City , New Jersey, to the late Dorothy "Dot" and Hugh John Hall Sr., Mary moved to Georgia due to her father's work in 1952, where she has been proud to remain the rest of her life. She graduated from Mount De Sales Academy in Macon in 1968 and retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corporation where she worked in the IT department. She dearly loved her family and spent as much time as possible going to all the baseball, basketball, soccer and football games of her sons and grandsons. She attended Byron Heritage Church.
Leaving behind those she loved most is her husband of 30 years, Bobby T. Keys; their sons, R. Allen Windham Jr., A. Wayne Windham (Cara), and Chad Keys (Heather); her 7 wonderful grandsons that she felt so fortunate to be blessed with, Robert Windham (Rahsheeda), Kyle Windham, Ian Bruce, Dalton Keys (Jeffrie), Jake Keys, Nathan Windham, Levi Windham, and great grandson, Rob Windham. She was also blessed with many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and a wonderful extended family she's leaving behind. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Dorothy "Dot" Mohr Hall and Hugh John Hall Sr., a brother, Hugh John "Johnny" Hall Jr., grandparents, Adna and Helen Mohr of Georgia and Dr. John and Mary Hall of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, her much loved aunts, uncles and cousins, and a granddaughter, Emilee Bruce.
