Mary Anne McSherry Knack passed away on March 10, 2026, after a short illness. She was born on June 10, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York to Francis McSherry and Mary Ellen Rooney McSherry.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Knack Jr and her son Steve Knack (Jenn). She leaves behind her children Joe Knack III (Margaret), Mary Ellen Knack, and John Knack (Kristi) and daughter-in-law Jenn Knack; grandchildren Brian, Lauren, David, Morgan, Amy, Alex, Landon, Vince, Chloe, and Sarah; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, three brothers, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Anne earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Memphis State University and practiced at Veterans Administration hospitals in Memphis, TN, Little Rock, AR, and Columbia, MO.

She enjoyed following the activities of her children, grandchildren, and extended family. Her Bichon Frise, Dodger, brightened every day of her final years.
