Mary Lee Kochersperger

Mary Lee Kochersperger, 81, entered eternity on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Mary was born on a warm Tuesday, June 29th, 1943, and resided in Sellersburg, Indiana, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication.
Mary spent her professional career as a Teacher's Assistant at Rockcreek Christian School, where her nurturing spirit impacted countless young lives. She selflessly dedicated her time as a volunteer for Choices for Women of New Albany, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to helping others.
Her family was the cornerstone of her life, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Survivors include her loving husband, Stephen Kochersperger, her sons, Christopher P. Waggoner (Yvonne), Andrew A. Waggoner, Paul A. Kochersperger (Stacey), Jeffrey W. Kochersperger and Michael L. Kochersperger, her daughters, Wanda R. Perry and Michelle L. Bryner (Greg) and her sisters, Elizabeth Hunter (David) and Nellie Heath. Mary also leaves 19 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren to cherish her legacy.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Altha Jones, by her dear daughters Kathryn M. Payton and Lori L. Davis, and her brother Orville Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172). Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
