Mary Ellen "Cowen" Lane

Mary Ellen (Cowen) Lane, of Everson, WA passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025 at age 94. Married for 49 years to her soul mate, Carl, who preceded her in death, they raised three children – David, Rick and Kelly in the Lynden area. Mary Ellen was known for her kind heart and loving smile. She cherished her role as a grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and looked forward to the little ones coming to visit her. She also had many nieces and nephews that she loved to stay in contact with. She loved reading and puzzle books. She worked as a supervisor and office manager at Power's Twine until her retirement. She loved to go on long walks with her friend. She also enjoyed going to the beach but her favorite place was always at home with her family.

A service will be held at Moles Farewell Tributes - Greenacres, at 5700 Northwest Dr, Ferndale, WA 98248 on November 19th with visitation at 11:00am, followed by a service in the Chapel at 2:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cannery Lodge at Semiahmoo Resort on Saturday, November 22nd from 1-4.
