Mary G. Lanham, 77 years old, passed away at 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on March 27, 1948 in South Bend to the late Gene F. and Ernestine (Long) Strickland. On August 10, 1996 in South Bend, Mary and Leonard "Jack" Lanham were united in marriage. Jack preceded her in death on December 21, 2006.

Mary is survived by her three children, Tina (Harold) Stone of Miamisburg, OH, Donald (Denise) Pucci of North Liberty and Gene (Patty) Pucci of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren, Christina Jackson, D.J. Stone, Cassandra Stone, Ashley Strazar and Chandler Pucci; and eight great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her niece, Danette (Jim) Boersma of Iron Mountain, MI and their children, Matthew and Andrew; and her favorite cousin, Mary Ruth Montgomery of Mishawaka.

A private interment of her and Jack's cremated remains will take place at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mary G. Lanham may be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
